hi,

nachdem mein temp. fühler gebrochen ist:



muss ich leider komplett incl. anzeige tauschen.
in der u.a. beschreibung steht, dass ich dazu das kühlwasser komplett ablassen muss (wenn ich es richtig übersetzt habe).

muss ich das wirklich?
das verstehe ich nicht, weil der geber ist eh soweit oben.........

86. TEMPERATURE GAGE.
a. Description. The temperature gage (fig. 5) is of the Bourdontype
with a capillary tube connecting it to an expansion bulb in the
right side of the cylinder head. The entire system is sealed into one
assembly; if any difficulty is experienced, the whole assembly must
be replaced.
b. Removal. Drain the cooling system by opening drain cock
under left side of radiator. Remove engine unit in right side of cylinder
head by unscrewing retaining nut in reducing bushing. Remove
two nuts holding retaining bracket on back of gage. Remove grommet
around tube through dash and draw out gage assembly, tube, and
engine unit through hole in panel.
c. Installation. Insert engine unit through hole in panel, mounting
bracket, and dash. Position gage correctly, install mounting
bracket and nuts: tighten securely. Insert grommet in dash. Install
engine unit, and tighten retaining nut. Fill cooling system, and check
for leaks.

jo... also von der übersetzung her stimmts.... nur wie du richtig sagst, ist der geber recht weit oben, also sollts reichen einen teil auszulassen...
es geht nur darum zu verhindern, das oben wasser rauskommt, und dir die zündung oder sonst was versaut..

was wasser an falschen stellen macht, kennst eh vom yps.

das mit dem wasser kenn ich in milderer Form vom Corsa - man hat dann halt längere (Ein-) Schweißübungen.....
