in der Woche vom 6. bis zum 13. waren der Gottfried, der Ralf und ich auf einem Kurztrip in den Staaten - erstens um ein wenig
Kontakte zu pflegen, zweitens zum Relaxen und unterwegs als Touristen auf bereits ausgetretenen Pfaden und letztendlich um
wie in den vergangenen Jahren unsere Freunde beim härtesten Rockrace der Welt - dem Ultra4 Event: King of the Hammers -
wieder zu treffen - und, zumindest der Ralf, diese mit Rat und Tat ein wenig zu unterstützen ...
Die Flugroute war diesmal echt nervenaufreibend - hin rd. 20 Std. von Salzburg über Wien und Washington DC nach Vegas -
retour von Vegas nach Chicago, dann nach Frankfurt und heim nach Salzburg. Für den Gottfried, der noch nie geflogen war
und daher auch noch nie in den USA war eine echte Challenge - Hardcore-Tourismus vom Feinsten! Wir hatten jede Menge
Spaß in den Tagen drüben
Zuerst also Vegas - die Spielerstadt in der Wüste von Nevada! Und wenn ich sage "in der Wüste" dann mein ich das auch -
kaum kommst raus aus der Stadt is da genau gar nix mehr - echt unglaublich! Zwischen Vegas und LA gibts kaum nennens-
werte Zivilisation - das ist mehr als die Strecke Salzburg - Wien ...
Hier ein paar Eindrücke aus Vegas - zuerst mal unser Hotel, das Luxor, echt empfehlenswert!
